Slash Broadcasting Los Angeles Zoo Performance in Virtual Reality

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo's Beastly Ball, Slash of Guns N' Roses will be headlining the event in a special virtual reality performance, Billboard reports.

The ball, which is produced by Citi, Live Nation and NextVR, will allow fans to watch Slash's performance as well as see behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, rehearsals, and more. 

"I'm honored and proud to be a part of the L.A. Zoo's 50th Anniversary Beastly Ball," said Slash in a statement. "It's going to be the biggest yet, and I'm really looking forward to jamming live with some good friends."

Slash, an active animal rights supporter and collector of exotic reptiles, is also a trustee on the board of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association. Also expected to attend the event? Jack BlackGrace Potter, and Bernard Fowler.
